Come up north for the wide array of Fall and Winter activities taking place in and around the Brainerd-Baxter-Nisswa-Pequot Lakes area. In addition to the traditional leaf peeping, pumpkin patching, trail riding, micro-brewery tours, and antiquing that is always popular this time of year, there are dozens of specific events that infuse Minnesota flavor and fall/winter weather, including:

Welcome to our lakeside cabin located in Baxter Minnesota. Baxter Beach House is a newly renovated 3 bedroom, 2-bath home located on the sandy shores of White Sand Lake which is a ~400+ acre public access lake known for excellent fishing and only a ten-minute drive into Brainerd/Baxter for all your dining and shopping needs. The home, built in the 1940s, has been recently renovated with new flooring, a modern color palette and new furniture. The property is on City utilities so has reliable water, sewer, WiFi and electricity (including A/C).
The cabin features a lakeside living room, with a beautiful view of the lake, dining room for six people, and a fully equipped kitchen with two bar stools for additional seating. For bedtime, there is a king bed in the master, a queen in the second bedroom, and a double size bed with single trundle. All bedrooms feature powered USB chargers. The living room sectional also features a pull-out queen size sofa. In all, the home can sleep eight people but is most comfortable with six or less. The home boasts two bathrooms each complete with a walk-in shower, toilet, and vanity. The Living Room has a 75” smart TV and DVD player and the Master a 55” smart TV.
The cabin is a great place to spend time, but the outdoors is why you want to come up north and that is why Baxter Beach House has several different areas of outdoor recreation starting with the rear patio which is accessed via sliding glass door in the Living Room. The paver patio features a four-person table and chairs with an umbrella, a Weber gas grill and a LP gas fire table to keep you warm while taking in the lake views.
The backyard is a large grassy area for games like cornhole and bocce ball and can also serve for impromptu games of football, soccer, etc. (though there is a large City Park located a block away). The backyard also features a fire pit with six chairs and is an excellent place to enjoy the phenomenal sunsets.
Suffice to say, Baxter Beach House is a wonderful vacation base station in which to enjoy the property along with all the festivities the Brainerd Lakes area has to offer. We look forward to hosting you!!!
